Basil Jones Metal Spinners is a family owned and operated business, providing high quality, spun metal products to New Zealand and abroad.
At the tender age of 16, Basil Jones left school with a part time job processing materials at a metal spinning company in Lower Hutt. The creativity of the work he saw at the factory and the hands on approach to manufacturing really appealed to Basil. The rest, as they say, is history.
In 1990, after building his trade for 31 years, Basil decided it was time to step out on his own. He started the business in a small factory on Port Road in Seaview, with one customer and one full time staff member. As Basil earned a name for himself in the industry and the business began to grow, he expanded his team and relocated to a much larger site on Toop Street.
28 years later, Basil Jones Metal Spinners continues to grow, producing high quality products for a variety of industries:
